Jeffrey McRobbie

A father of three, the youngest only six months old, tragedy struck Jeff McRobbie in January 2001. He was working at a construction site under a 5000-pound crane when it collapsed, striking him in the back. Jeff’s co-workers used large blocks to prop up the crane, supporting him until EMS personnel arrived on the scene. Jeff was taken directly to the OR at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, in shock, with multiple injuries requiring massive transfusion.

After a long stay and intensive therapy at the Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon, Jeff can walk again, and has returned to work. Doing great, his children keep him and his wife busy. Jeff loves camping, golfing, and riding motorcycles. He keeps moving forward, living life to the fullest, believing that “hope floats.”
