Miguel Quintero

In rural Oregon, 2½-year-old Miguel Quintero was critically injured in a motor vehicle crash, leaving him paralyzed. He was transferred to Legacy Emanuel Children’s Hospital for intensive care and ongoing rehabilitation. For the last seven years, he and his mom have driven in from Ontario for therapy and treatment. The rehabilitation staff recognizes him for his amazing spirit and perseverance.

Now a fifth-grader at Mary Roberts Elementary, Miguel loves computers, video games, playing with his two kittens, and hanging out with his two brothers: Julian, 6, and Hugo, 7. He continues to be greatly supported by his mom, his aunts and his uncles.
